Team Reflex Spinal Health have been getting pretty busy again after the last few weeks. We have been delighted to see so many happy faces (albeit often behind face masks) at the clinic recently. The chiropractors and osteopaths have been seeing lots of general enquiries as well as acute presentations.
Chiropractor Zoë Lofthouse is back in clinic
Yay! The lovely Zoë Lofthouse is now back in clinic! Zoë started this week and has been busy straight away. If you are one of Zoë’s regular clients, and you have yet to re-book your regular consultation with her please give us a ring soon to secure a time that is convenient to you.
If you have not yet been into the practice since the ‘grand reopening’ there are some expected differences.
Our practitioners are wearing PPE. Gloves, face mask and the ubiquitous plastic apron are our new uniform upgrades. We are also using anti-viral solution on the treatment benches, and other surfaces, between each adjustment. We are need you to complete a digital form prior to each adjustment. These protocols are being reviewed all the time as i am sure you can imagine.
Feedback from patients has been extremely positive. As far as we are aware everyone has felt comfortable and well looked after at Reflex Spinal Health with our new protocols.
No Restart date for Massage Therapy yet
I think that we were expecting a resumption of massage therapy, in some form, from July 4th. However, the UK Government announcement yesterday has made this impossible. We are confident that this situation will be reassessed soon. There may still be hope that we can resume massage therapy before the end of July. Our fantastic team of massage therapists were so hoping to have a start date!
As soon as we do have a confirmed resumption date we will be contacting massage practice members first to get your dates prioritised. I know from the numbers of phone calls we have had that there are lots of people desperate for their massage. The frustration over the delay is that clearly the government do not realise that therapeutic massage is not a luxury. Many people need massage therapy as part of their functional health care plan to keep them feeling better, muscles looser, less stressed and to reinforce their chiropractic or osteopathic treatment.
