Here is a very overdue post to share some of the fun from our New Year New You practice members party last month. Team Reflex had a fantastic evening over the road at The Griffin, and speaking on behalf of the team, we really loved the opportunity to catch up and chat socially with so many of our fantastic practice members. With some people coming and going over the evening we had about 100 practice members attending.
Andy gave a brief talk based around many of the topics of his book, One Body One Life: Don’t Screw it Up, but geared around the New Year New You and the fact that the majority of us feel more determined at this time of the year to make changes and improve our own health. As such one aspect that we feel we have been missing at Reflex has been our ability to address stress, anxiety and other conditions from the mental aspect. This is why we have invested in BrainTap, a fantastic tool that provides brain-based training, guided meditation and relaxation in a very time efficient manner. I can safely say that everybody who trialled the BrainTap during the party enjoyed it, and found it very relaxing, despite all the background noise and activity!
We will be writing a blog very soon, giving much more detail about BrainTap very soon so keep your eyes open for that! Every practice member will be entitled to two Complimentary BrainTap sessions once we have it up and running, so please make the most of this. We also welcomed our two newest members of Team Reflex. Rob Bryson joins us to add to our compliment of osteopaths, whilst Andrew Newson has joined the team adding his expertise in biomechanics. Andrew will be replacing Andy (yes…. confusing i know) in conducting all the Gaitscan assessments for foot and ankle biomechanics, and prescription of foot orthotics.
Finally, Team Reflex have already started to think about an event in the summertime. This summer both Andy & Laura will have been practicing chiropractic for 20 years, and what better reason would there be for a party? No definite plans yet, but we are thinking along the lines of a black tie do, and raising a little money for charity as well. We would love to hear your feedback, ideas, or whether this is something that you would be keen to attend…… if we get a green light to go ahead!
However, for now can you believe that it is already February? January has flown past. What have you done to improve your health further this year? There is no such time as the present for New Year New You! Hope you enjoy a few of the photos from the party, and if you missed this event please keep your eyes peeled for forthcoming events!
