Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Health and Wellbeing Award
Very exciting news for us here at Reflex. We have won a Health and Wellbeing award! This was for our regional Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Our Chamber of Commerce covers a wide area, from Buckingham in the north to Basingstoke in the south, and from the M25 in the east to Swindon in the west. Needless to say we are very happy, and this is a great reward for every member of Team Reflex!
Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner
On Wednesday 27th June six members of Team Reflex went along to the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Awards dinner. This black tie dinner was held at the Reading Hilton hotel, and was hosted by ex-Olympic swimmer Mark Foster. We are not quite sure whether who was taller between him and Andy!
The Health and Wellbeing award was the second to be announced. The tension built, the gold envelopes appeared. It was a little like being at the Oscars! All off us at the grads dinner were getting nervous as the shortlisted finalists were announced.
WE DID IT! Yay!
To a standing ovation we made our way up on to the stage to receive our framed
winners certificate and hand-blown glass prize. Photos with Mark Foster and the chamber of commerce execs followed. We could then finally enjoy our dinner.
Award winning Health and Wellbeing Clinic
We really do try our best at Reflex Spinal Health to provide the very best clinical care and customer service that we can. Do we manage this 100% of the time? Possibly not, but i am sure that we do this better that the vast majority of centres, as this award demonstrates.
Our Thames Valley spinal health centre now has an award winning team of chiropractors, osteopaths and massage therapists in Reading, Berkshire. Likewise we have great pride in our fab & friendly front-of-house team of clinic assistants.
We also take great care in looking after each other at the centre. The health and wellbeing of our own team is paramount. If every company did this then we would see a massive win-win for both the employers and employees.
There is an ever growing amount of research demonstrating that businesses who focus on this see higher employee productivity, reduced absence from sickness and better employee retention.
We look forward to seeing you soon at our award winning health and wellbeing centre in Reading, Berkshire! It sounds good, doesn’t it? We hope that this will be the first of other awards to come along in the future. For now though we are very chuffed to be the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Health and Wellbeing Award winners!
